Project Role: Creative and Art Direction
To be launched in late 2011, this site is the culmination of two months of strategic marketing, branding and advertising concepts. Charleston is a place of incredible historic grandeur, but also of modern-day innovation–as evidenced by the massive corporate expansion of Boeing’s 787 assembly line two years ago.
Charleston has some amazing assets and stories to draw creative inspiration from. When we develop brands for communities authenticity plays a key role in the success of the campaign and how it is viewed outside the community. We wanted to Contrast history with the present and in doing so illustrate how and why Charleston County has been such an leader for both our country and the world for the last 341 years.
This informational and inspirational campaign and website gives audiences a wide-angle view into Charleston County’s historical influences – from the 1700’s to tomorrow.
